I always feel privileged when women send me photographs during their pregnancies. I find beauty and inspiration within each photo. It became a passion of mine to build galleries of bumps, birth, breastfeeding, and babywearing to help normalize these events for plus size women. There are now over 100 photos within the baby bump gallery. Women have told me they never would’ve taken a photo of their bump if it wasn’t for seeing others they could identify with doing the same.
I hope every woman finds the courage to document her pregnancy and embrace her bump! The self-portrait below of Brit took my breath away! I found it to be one of the most alluring pregnancy photos I’ve ever seen. Click here to read her incredible home birth story that includes as hospital transfer.
